10:00am to approximately 11.15am is our weekly ‘main event’. We meet in a variety of different ways, some from our homes online, while many are now coming to the church building either inside our Main Hall or watching from a screen on the forecourt. We have a mixture of live from the church building elements and pre-recorded sements in our services. The link to our service will be available from our website front page. Visitors are always welcome and we have a 'Host' team each week ready to help you throughout the service and answer any questions you might have. You could also subscribe to our Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1kA7F3etQ6fx48vLLd45fQ.
Our gatherings all together in the church building fill with people of all ages, together to worship God and learn about following Jesus in today’s world. We have a crèche and children and youth activities running parallel to the service (currently running twice a month whilst we build our teams back up after the pandemic) and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Whilst we aren't always able to provide children's groups every Sunday morning, we always love having children in our services and aren't worried about a bit of noise! We also always have our back hall and outside play area available with a few toys available for any parent or carer who needs to make use of this.
Portswood Pod (Baby & Toddler group) - 10:00am to 11:00am. Pre-schoolers, babies and their parents/carers get together for play, shared activities and support.
We are keeping the numbers quite low for the moment and therefore booking per half term is essential. Please contact suzanne@portswood.org if you are interested in going on our waiting list.
There is a small charge of approximately £1.50 per week per family paid each half term in advance.
