What we do

Partnerships

Who we partner with
To serve the needs of our city and the people who live and work in it we are involved with and connected to a number of different groups and projects:
  • Love Southampton - an initiative of the churches working together to love our neighbours in the city in practical ways, to communicate efficiently with the city council and to focus on specific areas of need.
  • Southampton City Mission and Basics Bank -  delivering Christian schools work across the City and providing emergency food and clothes to those in need in Southampton.
  • Southampton Street Pastors - engaging with people on the streets to care for them, listen to them and help them, working together with other partners in the night-time economy to make communities safer.
  • Safe families for Children - Safe Families for Children (Safe Families) works hand-in-hand with children’s services to link families in need with local volunteers who can offer them help and support.
  • Amber Chaplains - Offering a listening ear, emotional support and prayer to women who are vulnerable to sexual exploitation in Southampton.
  • Christian's Against Poverty - These guys are on a mission to release thousands of families from grinding poverty through award winning debt counselling and community groups. By equipping and empowering local churches to reach out on their doorsteps, they're bringing hope to tens of thousands of people every year.
  • The Firgrove Centre - Offering support and Information for an unintended pregnancy as well as pre and post abortion, post-adoption, miscarriage and baby loss counselling.
  • Friends International - Studying in another country can be great fun and very rewarding. But it can also sometimes bring challenges; a new language, a different culture, and getting to know new people. Friends International wants to welcome internationals, and to give them opportunities to meet local people, make friends and learn about British culture, customs and beliefs..
  • Tear Fund - Working through local churches to unlock people's potential and helping them to discover that the answer to poverty is within themselves
Coronavirus - Our Response
We're no longer meeting in our building but we're still together as "church" and also seeking to serve the wider community.
